went to xianyang's house in the afternoon today
played mahjong there
with huaxuan. peiying and shirui

it was my first time playing the game today
and it really is interesting
played from 2 to 6
and by the end of the day
i finally understand how the game works

well,
i won 3 games
but it's just luck
cause i still do not know how to play it
and i couldn't have won without huaxuan helping me

now i understand why people can sit in front of the mahjong tables
playing mahjong throughout the day
and sometimes, even into the night

once you start playing,
it's really difficult to stop
especially if you were to gamble
you'll keep play
hoping to recoup your losses

thank god we didn't gamble today
but it was really a good way to pass the afternoon
afterall
it was raining the whole afternoon
and,
playing mahjong is a good way to pass time

went shengshiong afterwards
to window-shop
trying to see what to buy for the BBQ at east coast next week
came out with lots of funny ideas on wat type of food could we Barbecue

Ducktours didn't call me today
so it means that i have to start looking for another job
Dang!
i'm going to give up if i am still unable to get a job by next friday!

if thers one thing i'm afraid of
it's the idea of going to bugis.

it's quite obvious,
i went there again today
to change the pair of shorts i bought on sunday
Dang!
went there the forth/fifth time this week
and each time i go,
i'll end up walking for hours

and there's no exception today
walked for three hours
searching for jobs in that area
after changing my shorts

got really sick of that place
and now,
huaxuan is asking me to go again

though walking is quite therapeutic,
excessive walking ,
no thanks,
i'm not into it

went to school in the morning to collect my school magazine
dressed up in the P.E attire
and meet peiying and xianyang at the macdonalds' opposite school
then
jiahui, yiliang and weikiat came

had our breakfast there
and make our way to school after that

got our school magazine
walked back home
and went bugis after that
went job searching with zhixiong
like i've said
spent hours walking
until my feet hurt
and i left at about 4 plus


okay
i know my posts are lacking pictures right now
i'm already trying to solve this problem
erm...
i'll try to post more pictures in future
or at least make my post more 'lively'

Have you ever felt like life has lost its meaning after the O's?

like we're so used to waking up early
go attend school
and going through the same mundane schedule everyday
listening to teachers
doing homework
preparing for tests and exams

well, i'm feeling this way

i have so much time on my hands these few days
that i literally put my handphone beside me all the time
hoping every moment
that someone will call or text to ask me out

not that no one ask me out
if fact,
i went out almost everyday for the past few days
it's just that,
life has become so meaningless
after the O's

like you wake up
without having a single idea
how the hell you will be spending the day
and then
you'll spend the rest of the day
trying to find something to do to pass time
and often
you end up looking at your handphone every few minutes
hoping to see a sms or a call coming in

sounds really pathetic
and this happened to me today
as the trip to Plaza Singapura to watch Paranormal Activity was canceled
and i end up reading and completing the second book of narnia

and i'm really thankful that xianyang asked me to go to an interview today
it was my first job interview
:D
got a sms from him at around 2
telling me that his interview went quite well
and that the Ducktours don't mind employing students who have not reached 16 years old

so,
i rushed down to suntec city to meet him
and the interview began when i've completed my form

"hello i am___, you are?"
and the interview began
the interview was fast
it went rather well too
and it ended with a
"nice meeting you!"
from both sides

and all i have to do now is to wait for them to call me
within the next two days
keeping my fingers crossed
i need this job badly
and it pays well
:D

if all goes well,
i'm able to start working on monday
