Just finished watching bridesmaids

and it's a really funny show

cannot stop laughing

Melissa McCarthy is really awesome

(she's the first one from the left in the bridesmaid poster)

and I finally completed Friends

yeap, all 10 seasons of it!

and I kinda feel a little lost

like a part of me feels very empty

cos' i know that there's like no more new friends episodes to look forward to

it's really the best show i've watched to date

and you really get very attached to the characters

I always get way too drawn into shows, especially serials

I get attached to the casts

I get all emotional after the end of each episode

and when I meet people who watch the same show,

that'll be all i want to talk about

I'm not sure if this happen to everyone

but it certainly is taking it's toll on me

Like some withdrawal symptom

By the way,

i'm spending 90% of my time watching shows

i'm just trying to complete as many shows as possible before I enter the army

I'm planning to watch midnight in paris soon too

cos' it's another great show

Nostalgia

It's the second day of chinese new year.

Here's a summary of the past week,
went to fuhua with kristie on friday, it was very last minute.
So i didnt see any teachers, but mr low found me outside the staffroom.
Chatted with him for awhile.
Before going off to meet weiting to buy some stuff for ns.

While walking to fuhua, i saw a lot of students.
Walked past rulang, shuqun and i suddenly realised how old i actually am.
It has been years since i last visited my primary school
And thinking about it, it has been awhile since i've graduated from RPS.
Time really flies and so much has changed.
Friends come and go
So much has happened
Can't believe 7years have past just like this.

I really hope time can just past slower sometimes.
I just want more time to appreciare everything around me before they're gone.
Everything is just passing too fast!

When we were younger, we were rushing to grow up,
But now, all i hope is just more time to be young again;
Back to the times where we were more naive.
Back to the times where we have nothing to worry about
Back to the times where ...

Just once more, i wanna feel less stressed, uptight, anxious etc...
Just hope things will slow down for awhile.
Just hope that time will pass slower
And hope that i will have more time to appreciate stuff around me.

Alright, it's CNY and i'm at my aunt's place. Should hang out more with my cousins instead of updatig my blog. Haha

January In A Nutshell

it's less than a week before chinese new year

can't celebrate it this year

so I guess, i'll be spending most of my time watching shows

(last week before NS, i have to finish Friends)

So, i've gone to jb twice since the new year

once with my jc classmates

and another time with huaxuan and nicky

it was fun both times round

but huaxuan's and nicky's one was more thrilling

cos' it was the first time i travelled out of city square

and we cabbed to quite a number of places

I'm glad they were that adventurous ,

if not, i'll never have the chance to explore johor

I'll be entering NS soon too,

have been hearing a lot of stories

and have been doing some training myself

I just hope that I'll be mentally and physically prepared for everything

and I hope that things will go smoothly in NS

Can't hope much though

sigh....

I just want time to fly

and this 2 years will be gone in a jiffy

Still, I hope that i'll be able to adopt a positive perspective

and thus, I'll be able to enjoy my time in NS

and then time will pass faster

I just hope that everything will go well

It's A Whole New Year

it's a week into 2012 already

Well, there is not much to look forward to this year

I'll be spending most of my time in Army

So yea, that part is distressing

Other than that, I hope that I'll be able to make full use of my remaining time to do stuff that I enjoy doing

Since I'm not gonna touch any 'study materials' for the next 2 years or so,

I shall spend all my free time watching shows, reading books and

I guess that's about it

My aim this year is to be contented

and in a way, spending time doing stuff I like is being contented

I guess there really isn't anything much to plan for this year

sigh

I just hope that I'll adopt a more optimistic perspective

and thus, will better enjoy my life in army

I guess that's all

It's 2012! The dreadful year...
I'll be in National Service in a month's time and i'll be spending my next 2 years there.
I'm a little nervous and worried already
I mean, i'm gonna be in the military and I am not sure where i'll be posted to after my BMT.
It freaks me out not knowing what's the path ahead.

And then there'll be my A levels result
The exam i've worked the hardest for my entire life.
The one thing i have to excel!
I'm pinnig all of my hopes on my A's and I really hope that i'll really ace it

And then there's the apocalypse!
I'm not sure whether I believe it,
But it is a fact that the world is in a very bad state now.

Oh well, who knows what the future will hold.
If there's one thing i've learnt in 2011,
It'll be to live life to the fullest so that you'll have no regrets.

I really like december!!

December never fails to brighten up my mood
there's Christmas, Holidays, My Birthday and so many great stuff going on around this time of the year

Though this year, i wasn't in the mood to celebrate christmas,

I just didn't catch the feeling and so christmas was pretty dull

but still, there's so many birthdays to celebrate and then it made me all jolly again

Well, the year is ending soon...

another year gone just like that

and I'm enlisting into National Service soon

It's like there's more things to do and lesser time to complete them

UGH...

I guess this is one of the (many) responsibilities of growing up,

having to manage more tasks in a shorter time span

Havent been on here for awhile,
Life after A's is awesome so far, i've gone out everyday til' i'm a little sick of it.
I'm at the airport now, waiting to check in our luggages.
Can't wait for the plane to touch down at Paris.
This trip is going to be so much fun, but dang, i'm so damn tired now. It sounds like a waste to sleep on the plane, cos' there'll be so many shows to watch. But then, i'll need sleep to be energized throughout the trip.

Btw, i just came back from prom.
Didnt attend the entire thing but i was there to take pictures with my classmates. It looks nicer than fuhua's. At least, everyone look nice (even with make up on).
Felt quite sad that i couldnt be there for the entire evening, but... Oh well. I'll still have a chance to attend in my uni days. Hope i won't miss that. Alrght, i've written quite a bit and i'm gonna end here.

Back for Good

Alright, i'm officially back on the internet

A levels will end in about a week's time

and I can't resist the temptation of not coming back (especially tumblr)

It's been awhile since i've been there

and I've really lost touched with it

Regarding the A's,

well things weren't as smooth as it was for the O's

there isn't any paper where I can confidently say that it's a definite A

Competition is stiffer (that's for sure)

which means that it'll be harder for me to attain the A

but still, I hope that the two years worth of mugging will be able to get me somewhere

I really do hope that i'll be able to excel in my A's

cos' it's the route to uni.
If my A's is screwed up, it means that the last 2 years of studying will be in vain

though the process is important,

the studying, friends, events etc...

ultimately, everyone wants the same aim

to do well for A's

The process can be enjoyable,

but without a good A level certificate,

no one will be satisfied.

So anyway,

it's the last lap ian

2 more MCQ papers

and you'll be done with your A's

Work hard!

Today marks the last day of school

Can't help but feel a little nostalgic suddenly

The videos really brought back many good memories

I can still vividly remember how I got into this school

and many other events that happened thereafter

Two years just passed just like this,

all the joyful, happy, disappointing, depressed and moments in SAJC will be remembered and cherished

This is the first school that feels like a second home

the principal, teachers, schoolmates are all so caring and warm

It really feels like we're all in one big family

I've really learnt a lot in this 2 years

I feel empowered

I feel closer to God

and I really feel attached to the school

I used to think that I was just another average student that is just going to go through the education system unnoticed

but now, I realised that I can make a difference too

My results really soar in SAJC

and I'm hope that a perfect score is within my reach

All I lack is confidence, motivation, determination and perseverance!

Last Lap

I need to pen down some of my thoughts here

Yesterday is the official day with lesson for me

and Farewell Assembly will be in less than a week time

To be exact, it'll be on this coming Thursday (13th Oct)

I can't help but feel a little lost suddenly

I have no idea how well i'll fare during my A's

I have no idea how prepared I am

I have no idea how high will the bar be set

All I know is that I have worked hard but I am not the only one

Everyone is working equally hard and this is the last lap!

I did pretty well for my prelims

but it is still not well enough

The A's is after all an exam we all cannot fail

It's either you soar or you crumble

and I really hope that my results will be desirable

in fact, I really hope that I will be able to obtain the maximum number of rankpoints

It's time to mug as hard as I can

It's time to understand every single theory
It's time to grasp hold of everything I'm supposed to know

It's time to stop thinking about play until the A's is over

It's time for War!

30 days till the first paper

It'll be this 30 days that will determine the course I will attend in University

even possibly, the route I'll take in life.

Awesome Movies

Things never turn out as they are planned do they?

Was supposed to accompany XianYang out to shop

but we ended up having lunch at Orchard

and then we head back to XianYang's home to catch these two movies:

Breakfast at Tiffany's really blew my mind
I didn't expect myself to like the show

but it really did change my opinion

Audrey Hepburn is really awesome

and I was so dumb to not have realised that

OMG!

I really cannot get her and the show out of my head right now

it is of little wonder that she is such an iconic actress

Look at her:
She really deserves to be an acting legend!

After watching a classic,

we went on to catch a comedy: Easy A.

Caught that show before

but it still manage to crack me up
Emma Stone is another awesome actress

her husky voice, her epic facial expressions are all so alluring

Alright, got to start on my GP essay right now

This marks the end of my blog for now

An Unexpected Turn of Events

Finally downloaded Vampire Diaries.

So excited, but I need to complete my Math Assignment first

So the show can wait till about 10pm.

I'll be able to see Elena again :DD

Today didn't went as well as it should have

Outing with Evelyn and WeiLiang was cancelled

because Evelyn fell sick

and so I ended up studying with WeiTing

well, at least I manage to study a little over this weekend

something I didn't plan to do

and that pretty much sums up this boring day

Oh,

tomorrow will be the last time I'm posting here

After Sunday

I'm going to try to keep myself away from the computer/internet till after my A's

this little flat screen here is really seductive and addictive

and I need to resist my urge to click the 'google chrome' icon!

Got to go now so I can watch the Vampire Diaries as soon as possible

Currently downloading the second episode of The Vampire Diaries Season 3

It shall be my last episode as well

and I shall resist the urge to watch this awesome show till after my A's

it's way more important than vampires and nina dobrev (i'm sorry)

I'll miss you TVD

Cos' I know I'll get attached to shows easily

and once that happens,

it'll be difficult for me to concentrate on my studies

So it's best to start the torture earlier

Meanwhile, I went out with Kristie and WenHui,

wanted to look for Toms shoes

but ended up watching a movie :Fright Night

pretty lame movie

the gory/horror parts are rather mediocre

not worth mentioning about i guess

But other than that,

it's pretty fun

went shopping for Shengrong's Birthday present

and my legs feel damn numb now.

All in all, it's a day well spent

Bye Prelims, Hello A's

Prelims is finally over

I have four days to have as much fun as possible

before the hard work and torture sets in

From Monday onwards,

it's time to start preparing for the A levels Examinations

the last hurdle

and the most important one

it's either you qualify for uni

or you can't go anywhere

so there's only one chance to succeed and I cannot take this lightly

the pressure/stress/motivation/perseverance/determination/discipline all have to come in

in order to achieve success

On a side note,
had fun today with these gang!

was suppose to try ice skating for the first time in my life

but the rink was booked for private purposes

oh well...

we ended up watching Johnny English Reborn

and it was a pretty entertaining movie

that's all, I didn't like/hate it but I did enjoy watching it

but definitely not watching it again even if it is free.

that's just my view though.

Head down to the F1 racetrack after the show

and spent some time gazing there

and finally decided that it was time to head home

and i'm pretty tired but i still have some stuff to do before i can sleep

so I guess that's all for now

Procrastination

I'm not supposed to be posting here now.

Tomorrow marks the end of my prelims

and here I am wasting my time away instead of studying

In fact, I haven't been studying much lately.

It's the Prelims and I'm supposed to be freaking out

A levels will begin in a month's time

I really do hope that this is just temporary

and I will revert back to my mugging mode after this weekend

It is really imperative that I start preparing for my A's now
(Though it sounds a little too late!)

It's now or never!!!

By the way, Season 3 of The Vampire Diaries just started airing last thursday

and I really can't help but get all crazy over nina dobrev again
